During one project, a problem arose with the sonar launch system. In order to do everything in accordance with the HSE and at the same time safely for the equipment, it was necessary to lower the sheave on a separate wire rope onto the sonar when launching / recovering the equipment from the water.

To protect the beacon mounted above the sonar and the sonar itself from damage, we designed a wire stopper that kept the sheave at a safe distance from the rest of the equipment. At the same time, this stopper prevented the components from wedging between each other.
