Maintenance and routine repair

Offshore equipment requires regular and professional maintenance. High salinity, underwater/humidity operation, plus vibration and overloading due to wave action, can severely damage even the best equipment.
With regular maintenance, usually at intervals of 2 or 4 weeks, it is possible to significantly extend the trouble-free periods in operations.

The basic scope of routine work includes:

Cleaning and lubrication of all cable connections (underwater and on board)

Checking the insulation condition of the wiring to the towed equipment (wet part)

Checking the insulation condition of the wiring to the towed equipment (wet part)

Functional test of all equipment on completion

The interval as well as the scope of maintenance work is always customised to the project in question.
We carry out this work, either as part of an overall order or as a separate service
- when the ship have port call.
